Muslim Child

"Muslim Child" is a book about Muslim children. It really opened my eyes to how beautiful and simple Islam is. Especially the children in this book are portrayed as "no problem" young people. They go about their lives, even obstacles in their path with such ease and confidence that I was surprised. Whenever they obey Allah, they came out of their problems successful. This was really a lesson for me, I make small things so difficult for myself when I need to only trust Allah and do the right thing and Allah will take care of the rest. 

I really like the hadith in the book, "Allah does not look at your appearance or your possessions, but He looks at your heart and the things you do." Allah loves me for who I am and what I do. I am not judged on how I look or what I have.
I think people have forgotten what Islam really is. Reading this book reminded me of the simplicity of Islam. It is the best best religion, indeed I love Islam.

The book ended with the du'a, "I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as the religion, and with Muhammad (s.a.w) as the Prophet." I really like this du'a.
